Class Descriptions

BASICS
Develop body awareness, learn basic postures (asanas), and proper alignment. Build strength and flexibility. Learn yogic forms of breathing and how to sequence breath and movements together.
ALL LEVELS
Work with postures, physical alignment and form while linking these elements with your breath. Open to all levels
TEENS AND PRE-TEENS YOGA
Teens will explore the physical and philosophical practice of traditional yoga. Class will focus on developing body and mind strength and flexibility through yoga poses, breathing exercises, meditation and relaxation. Journaling, group discussions and valuable activities create a positive environment that supports self-confidence, body appreciation and tools for stress management.
CANDLELIGHT YOGA
Let your spirit soar through this soulful vinyasa flow class set to candlelight and music. This class is geared towards intermediate and advanced students that want a more challenging practice.
SATURDAY STRETCH
Roll out of bed and into a class designed to boost your energy and open your body up in new ways. Mindful movement in the morning can have a profound effect on your energy level and over-all sense of well-being for the rest of the day. Increase your flexibility, strength and coordination, all before that first cup of coffee!
MEDITATION/RESTORATIVE
A gentle, slower-paced Hatha yoga class focusing on passive, supported poses and breathwork to allow the body to open, release and stretch while enjoying soothing live music. Relax, meditate and heal the effects of stress, fatigue and illness with this rejuvenating form of yoga.
KIDS
Our children's classes address the natural interests, needs and rhythms of children. They stretch, breathe, relax and enjoy the many benefits of yoga in fun and playful ways!
HAPPY YOGA
A lighthearted class introducing basic yoga poses along with a nice Vinyasa Flow. Invite your inner-child on your mat and discover yoga in a new way. Fun music and laughter will create a wonderful atmosphere that will leave you wanting more.
JUST YOGA
Enjoy essential yoga stretching, movement, and breathing exercises to promote flexibility, deep relaxation, and stress release. This class brings classic yoga postures to the students and is open to all levels
